Report on the situation of human rights in Yemen for the month of March 2020
The monitoring team of the Future Partners Foundation for Development and Human Rights monitored 639 cases of human rights violations in Yemen. The monitoring team said in its monthly report on the human rights situation during the month of March of the year 2020 AD that the total violations that affected the civilian citizens in all Yemeni cities, which the team was able to monitor with 639 cases of violations and the displacement of 25 thousand families from the hell of war in Al-Jawf Governorate, burning and damaging 160 tons of food aid from the World Food Program in the city of Taiz by the Houthi group. The human rights violations mentioned in the report were distributed as follows:
First: direct killing
The team monitored 68 murders of civilians during the month of March 2020, including 60 men, 4 women and 4 children. Thirty civilians were wounded, including 25 men, 3 women and 2 children.
Second: Sniper's victims and landmines
Landmines and their areas of cultivation continue to pose a great danger to civilians, in addition to the spread of snipers, who are observing innocent civilians, children and women, on public roads and residential neighborhoods. Especially in the frontline areas of Taiz and Hodeidah
Where 3 men and 3 women were killed and 1 child injured by sniping.
Landmine victim has killed 28 civilians, including 23 men, 1 woman and 4 children.
It wounded 7 civilians, including 6 men and 1 child.

Third: shells and Katyusha rockets
The report stated that 61 civilians were killed and injured, as victims of fatal mortars and Katyusha rockets. 16 men, 4 women and 3 children were killed, and 38 civilians were injured, including 32 men, 2 women and 4 children.

Fourth, arbitrary detention and enforced disappearance
First: Arbitrary detention. The team observed that 244 civilians were arbitrarily arrested, including 2 women and 1 journalist.
Second: enforced disappearance. 28 civilians were subjected to enforced disappearance, including 12 civilians, 1 journalist, 2 teachers and 8 women, including 7 school principals and 5 children.

Fifth: storming homes and destroying public facilities and private housing
The report mentioned 61 houses and installations were broken into and their contents looted, including a judicial complex, police station, hotel, oil port, hospital and medical store, 22 public facilities were burned and looted, including 3 schools were burned and 1 post office was burned, 1 factory was burned and the Immigration and Passport Office was looted and the headquarters of an international organization was exposed For looting and storming two local organizations, in addition to the exposure of 7 commercial stores for burning and looting, and storming the headquarters of the Nasserite Party in Sana'a, and 1 hospital and residence of the medical staff and three medical stores in Al-Jouf were attacked. A mosque and 2 Quran memorization centers were destroyed.
The report stated that 20 houses were demolished and bombed.

Sixth: Forced displacement
During the month of March, the monitoring team observed that 25,000 families were subjected to forced displacement from their homes in the city of Hazm al-Jawf, which was stormed by Houthi forces.
Seventh: suicide and rape
The report concluded that the Monitoring Team of the Future Partners Foundation for Development and Human Rights to monitor the suicide of 5 cases, including 4 men and 1 woman. 1 girl was raped.
Eighth: Death sentences:
The criminal court in Sana'a, which is subject to the Houthi authority, issued 52 judicial death sentences in absentia against 35 members of parliament and 17 military leaders, as part of a series of trials against all violators of the Houthi movement, which had issued months ago punitive rulings against many international and regional personalities, led by Donald Trump, the president of the United States.
