Future Partners for Development and All Youth for Development concludes a campaign advocating prejudice against women and girls.

This evening, the Future Partners Foundation for Development concluded an advocacy campaign to combat prejudice against women and girls, especially women, the marginalized segments of Yemen. To combat prejudice against women in the context of the celebration of the anniversary of the International Human Rights Day December 10, as well as the 16 days of anti-violence against women, which is an annual activity through which the public is reminded of its humanitarian and moral obligations on issues of violence and discrimination against women. The campaign focused its activities on three main axes, each one dealing with a form of discrimination against women. Where the first axis included the issue of the dangers that marginalized women are exposed to as a result of planting mines and their remnants, focusing on the human cost and the negative, psychological and social effects on the victims as a result of planting mines and war projectiles. In civilian areas and between dwellings and the shrine of citizens, the second axis of the campaign dealt with the issue of women and children being exposed to snipers� bullets, who unjustly rob civilians of their lives, especially women and children of dark skin. Yemen has been witnessing for seven years. The third axis dealt with violence and discrimination faced by marginalized women in shelter and displacement centers and camps, which forced civilians to leave their homes as a result of the military actions that their residential areas are witnessing, endangering their lives and death, or they have to bear the burdens and problems of displacement to gatherings and camps In most cases, they are not prepared to receive the increasing number of displaced people. The campaign, in general, aimed to shed light on the problems of violence that fall on marginalized women and the accompanying burdens, discrimination and shameful prejudice practiced by several parties within society. These violations contradict the principles and values of the international conventions to combat discrimination against women (CEDAW). The campaign also aims to enlighten local and international communities about the forms and types of violence that women and girls are exposed to in areas experiencing conflict or living under war.

384 cases of violations that the Future Partners Foundation for Development and Human Rights monitoring team was able to monitor
In its monthly report on the human rights situation during the month of April 2020, the monitoring team said that the total violations that affected civilian citizens in all Yemeni cities, which the team was able to monitor with 384 cases of violations and the displacement of 8 families from the hell of war and the distant treatment that civilians receive in the governorate Al-Jouf, and 2 women were subjected to an attempted rape by gunmen in the city of Aden. The human rights violations mentioned in the report were distributed as follows:
First: direct killing
The team monitored 56 murders of civilians during April 2020, including 47 men, 2 women, and 7 children. 20 civilians were injured, including 19 men and 1 woman.
Second: Sniper's victims and landmines
Landmines and their areas of cultivation continue to pose a great danger to civilians, in addition to the spread of snipers who monitor civilian innocent children and women in public roads and residential neighborhoods. Especially in the frontline areas of Taiz and Hodeidah
As 1 woman and 1 child were killed and 1 woman and 1 child were injured by sniping.
And 10 men were victims of mine cultivation.
It wounded 12 civilians, including 10 men and 2 children.

Third: shells and Katyusha rockets

Fifth: storming homes and destroying public facilities and private housing

Future Partners for Development and All Youth for Development concludes a campaign advocating prejudice against women and girls.

This evening, the Future Partners Foundation for Development concluded an advocacy campaign to combat prejudice against women and girls, especially women, the marginalized segments of Yemen. To combat prejudice against women in the context of the celebration of the anniversary of the International Human Rights Day December 10, as well as the 16 days of anti-violence against women, which is an annual activity through which the public is reminded of its humanitarian and moral obligations on issues of violence and discrimination against women. The campaign focused its activities on three main axes, each one dealing with a form of discrimination against women. Where the first axis included the issue of the dangers that marginalized women are exposed to as a result of planting mines and their remnants, focusing on the human cost and the negative, psychological and social effects on the victims as a result of planting mines and war projectiles. In civilian areas and between dwellings and the shrine of citizens, the second axis of the campaign dealt with the issue of women and children being exposed to snipers� bullets, who unjustly rob civilians of their lives, especially women and children of dark skin. Yemen has been witnessing for seven years. The third axis dealt with violence and discrimination faced by marginalized women in shelter and displacement centers and camps, which forced civilians to leave their homes as a result of the military actions that their residential areas are witnessing, endangering their lives and death, or they have to bear the burdens and problems of displacement to gatherings and camps In most cases, they are not prepared to receive the increasing number of displaced people. The campaign, in general, aimed to shed light on the problems of violence that fall on marginalized women and the accompanying burdens, discrimination and shameful prejudice practiced by several parties within society. These violations contradict the principles and values of the international conventions to combat discrimination against women (CEDAW). The campaign also aims to enlighten local and international communities about the forms and types of violence that women and girls are exposed to in areas experiencing conflict or living under war.

384 cases of violations that the Future Partners Foundation for Development and Human Rights monitoring team was able to monitor
In its monthly report on the human rights situation during the month of April 2020, the monitoring team said that the total violations that affected civilian citizens in all Yemeni cities, which the team was able to monitor with 384 cases of violations and the displacement of 8 families from the hell of war and the distant treatment that civilians receive in the governorate Al-Jouf, and 2 women were subjected to an attempted rape by gunmen in the city of Aden. The human rights violations mentioned in the report were distributed as follows:
First: direct killing
The team monitored 56 murders of civilians during April 2020, including 47 men, 2 women, and 7 children. 20 civilians were injured, including 19 men and 1 woman.
Second: Sniper's victims and landmines
Landmines and their areas of cultivation continue to pose a great danger to civilians, in addition to the spread of snipers who monitor civilian innocent children and women in public roads and residential neighborhoods. Especially in the frontline areas of Taiz and Hodeidah
As 1 woman and 1 child were killed and 1 woman and 1 child were injured by sniping.
And 10 men were victims of mine cultivation.
